Online Scammer Targets Trinity LC Members

Please be aware that someone is impersonating Pastor Cummins.  They are contacting members of our congregation via email and text messages.  Be aware that they are using the following account which does not belong to the church or to Pastor Cummins:  PastorBrian.reddingtlc@gmail.com.

The Church Staff has an email address ending with reddingtlc.org.  For example, Pastor Cummins' church email address is pastorbrian@reddingtlc.org. Our Messenger comes from Trinity Lutheran Church (TrinityRedding@gmail.com).  We do not have any other church email addresses.

Please do not respond to any text or email that comes from PastorBrian.reddingtlc@gmail.com or any other email unless it is Pastor Brian's church email (pastorbrian@reddingtlc.org). 

He will never leave you a message that says: "I need your help" without telling you what it is.  He will also never call you and ask you to send money or meet him someplace to give him money.  If you should ever receive something like this, please verify that he is calling you and call an Elder of the Church or a Church Officer to verify that Pastor needs help.
