Trinity Lutheran Early Learning Center (ELC) is dedicated to providing families in the Redding area with affordable, high quality Christian education and daytime care of young children. Faculty and Staff go the extra mile by providing care and support for children and their families with take-home learning material, supervised outdoor play, and weekly chapels to deepen their faith.
Services are provided Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 5:45 pm.

A Curriculum Dedicated to Excellence
We strongly believe nothing is more important in the life of a young child than a thorough and meaningful Christian education, an education that teaches the young person about the love of Christ, and how to share that love in all responsibilities and relationships. With flexible hours, we are here to serve growing families who want their children to learn in a nurturing and loving environment.
We provide age appropriate academic curricula to ensure every child engages in learning and growing. Select each topic below to learn more.
• Weekly Themes
Every classroom’s curriculum is designed around weekly themes that develops your child’s sense of curiosity about the world around them. With a changing theme every week, we’re sure your child will remain engaged and excited about life. Themes explore such topics as Feelings, Food Groups, Community Helpers, Farm Animals, Nursery Rhymes and much more.
• Zoophonics
Through this developmental, sequential and playful language arts program, students gain a firm foundation of the letter sounds and shapes and soon learn uppercase letters and letter names, and how to apply them to text. Preschool children will begin sound blending, spelling, and writing by mid-year or earlier. It is fully kinesthetic and multi-sensorial—children use their eyes, ears, mouths and bodies to learn. • Pre-School Emphasis (3-4 years old)
Core teaching for this class includes preparation for entering elementary school, as well as gross and fine motor skill development. Faith lessons include learning major faith figures and a basic understanding of salvation through Christ.
• Toddler Emphasis (2-3 years old)
Core teachings for this class includes early school preparation and play, as well as gross motor skill development. Faith lessons include basic Bible stories and weekly chapel sessions.

ELC is accepting new students on an ongoing basis. Please schedule a campus tour to meet with a school official to go over any questions you may have before enrolling and to get a snapshot of what your child would experience attending our Center.
