Dear Parents,

Trinity Lutheran Early Learning Center welcomes our new director Crystal Connor who has a great background of being a director at the YMCA. She is jumping in quickly as the Director here by helping the teachers, chatting with parents, and playing with the children. Please introduce yourself to Crystal when you have a chance.

The Early Learning Center has reopened its doors slowly on Monday, May 18 to the children of community essential working families who attend our school.

We are following the conservative teacher-to-child ratios set by the California Health and Social Services agency so we have not been able to run full classes during this Phase 2 of the COVID 19 pandemic. The toddlers have only 6 children in its designated classroom, the Prekindergarten has 10 children in its classroom and the after-school program has 10 children in its classroom, each room with one teacher.

We have made calls to include eligible essential worker families for these spots in the classroom. Trinity Lutheran Early Learning Center is gladly looking forward to seeing all of our sweet children return to us soon.   It is just a question of when the State will open more businesses up safely.

Please look on Facebook for any notification of change for the school and call us to keep in touch, as some of the families have been doing.

The teachers are back in the groove of loving and teaching your children. We're all so glad to see your dear children after such a long absence.

Ila is beaming with joy over the toddlers who have returned. She commented that they are showing great new growth in their abilities, how Great is our God!  Heather is so excited to be back in the Pre-K classroom with her students and is continuing with Zoophonics and weekly themes.

Our Trinity school-age friends are focusing on school work in addition to Bible prophets, disciples of Jesus and parable stories.  They are hanging out with Tatzia this Summer, who does a wonderful job engaging the children in art and garden projects and crafts each day especially on Fun Fridays.

"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you." -Ephesians 4:32

God bless you and keep you,

Laura Kegel
